We met this coyote on Badwater Road at Death Valley National Park last week. Unfortunately it has been habituated to humans, following and walking right up to the side of the cars. We saw people throwing out food to the coyote. As it was running down the middle of the road some oncoming cars didn't stop or slow down, nearly hitting the coyote. This is how wild animals get killed. PLEASE - Don't feed nor approach wild animals! Click images to see larger. |
